We are Kriszti and Józsi, the founders of Lilliput. A young married couple whose lives became even more complete in the spring of 2026 with the arrival of our baby. For us, Lilliput is much more than accommodation. It is a shared dream that we brought to life with our own hands.

Our Story
It all started on a cycling tour
Like many others, we cycled around Lake Balaton when we happened to pass the very plot where Lilliput now stands, and instantly fell in love with the location. The unique atmosphere of the high shoreline, the panoramic view, and the tranquility created a feeling we simply could not forget. After six months of planning and preparation, we began construction. The tiny house took shape over three months of weekend work. This was followed by several more months dedicated to installation, landscaping, and perfecting every little detail.
Design Inspiration
Inspired by the A-frame spirit
The design of the house was inspired by A-frame architecture. We have always been fascinated by the feeling of being able to enjoy an almost unobstructed view of nature directly from the living room. We wanted to recreate that experience here, complemented by one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Lake Balaton.

Continuous Improvement
The story of Lilliput continues to evolve. The bathroom underwent a complete renovation in 2025, and the garden gains new features season after season — allowing us to provide an even more special experience for every guest.
